Active健康 man年龄s the utilization review process for the State and School Employees’ 健康保险 Plan.  This means that Active健康 is responsible for making sure that the care you receive is medically necessary, 送到最合适的地点, and follows generally acceptable medical standards.

  • The coordination of claims payment with Blue Cross Blue Shield

All employees who are injured on the job are protected by 工人的补偿 insurance administered by CCMSI.  If you or an employee in your department is injured, please follow the following procedure.

 

过程:

  1. 向主管报告受伤情况
  2. 如果需要治疗, supervisors should take the employee to University 健康 Center for treatment. If additional treatment is required, the employee will be referred to the appropriate provider.
    1. For minor injuries, treat the employee as necessary.
    2. If the injury occurs when the 健康 Center is closed, employee can be receive treatment at any local clinic or make an appointment with his/her/their doctor for minor injuries.
    3. 严重受伤, contact 人力资源 at 4035 immediately for approval to transport the employee to the Emergency Room or contact the DSU police at 4155 for emergency treatment.
  3. Report all injuries to Rachel Becker in 人力资源 at 4035 or rbecker@volamdolong.com, even if minor and not requiring medical treatment.
    1. 人力资源 will submit the required paperwork to CCMSI in order to initiate a claim and create a case number.
  4. In order to return to work following a 工人的补偿 injury, the employee must provide note from his/her/their doctor clearing them to return to work fully or with duty restrictions.

  1. Report all injuries to your supervisor and to 人力资源 immediately.
  2. Provide your supervisor and 人力资源 with copies of all updates from your doctor or medical care provider related to the injury within 24-48 hours after each appointment.
  3. Follow all instructions provided by your health care provider, including any restricted duty instructions and plans for treatment, in order to return you to work as soon as possible.
  4. Provide 工人的补偿 insurer, CCMSI with any requested information in a timely manner.
